About Durham

Durham is friendly and welcoming, with the famous World Heritage Site, Cathedral and Castle at its very heart. In the ancient, cobbled streets, you’ll find shops and boutiques, cafés, bars and restaurants, and plenty of culture.

For those studying the Executive MSc in Behavioural Science, you will come to Durham twice for in-person teaching, networking, and the experience of living in this beautiful city.

Learners on our professional short courses, delivered via FutureLearn, will study fully online.

College membership

Durham University has a distinctive collegiate system of 17 different colleges which create a sense of belonging for our students, including those studying the Executive MSc in Behavioural Science.

While you won’t stay in Stephenson College for accommodation, you will be a lifelong member. The college has five core values that form the basis of everything they do; curiosity, courage, inclusion, responsibility and kindness.

Students at Durham have access to an excellent student support system, supported by their College as well as the Department of Psychology and Executive MSc programme team.

For your in-person study dates, the programme fee does not include personal expenses, travel or accommodation costs. However, the University has negotiated a reduced rate for students at several local hotels. Further information can be provided on request.

Those studying our short online courses will not be affiliated to a college.
